I’m an Ontario-based freelance writer, editor, and communications person who helps good organizations tell stories people actually want to read. I do a lot of work with non-profits and values-based groups, especially when they’re trying to explain important work in a clear, human way and get more people to care, support, or take action.
I also write about motherhood, the issues that matter to women and moms, sustainable living, books and travel, all shaped by my work as writer and editor (and sometimes by my own experiences). Whether I’m writing a service piece or a story, I want it to feel useful, warm, and genuinely worth your time—the kind of thing that adds a bright spot to someone’s day. I care deeply about the work, and I put real effort into every piece.
My work has appeared in the Toronto Star, CBC, Rewilding Magazine, Asparagus Magazine, Canadian Traveller, Explore, She Does the City, Best Health, Reader’s Digest, Literacy Inc., and City’s First Readers.
